When Your Dog is Struggling, You Need More Than Training
Reactivity on walks. Fear that won't shift. A rescue dog who can't seem to settle. Behaviour that leaves you feeling worried, frustrated, or simply lost.
These aren't problems to be fixed with commands, they're signals that your dog needs support, and so do you.
I'm Sally, a qualified canine behaviourist with over thirty years, practical experience with dogs in a variety of professional settings. I help guardians understand the emotions driving their dog's behaviour, and together we create a path toward calmer, more connected days.
My work is welfare-first & trauma informed. I don't use force, intimidation, or quick fixes that suppress behaviour without addressing what lies beneath. Instead, I focus on building emotional resilience, helping dogs feel genuinely safe, and giving guardians the understanding they need to support their dog long-term.
This isn't about creating an obedient dog. It's about nurturing a dog who feels secure enough to make better choices. Obedience is a side effect of safety and wellbeing.
I work with dogs and their guardians across Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport-on-Severn, and the surrounding areas, taking referrals from vets. Consultations take place in your home, where your dog feels most comfortable and I can see their behaviour in context.
How I Can Help You
_edited.jpg)
Behaviour Consultations: In-depth sessions exploring what's really happening for your dog. We'll look at triggers, emotional state, environment, and daily life to understand the full picture then build a practical, compassionate plan you can actually follow.
Reactivity Support: For dogs who bark, lunge, or struggle around other dogs, people, traffic, or specific triggers. We work at your dog's pace, rebuilding confidence and changing emotional responses from the inside out.
Fearful & Anxious Dogs: Supporting dogs who live in a state of worry whether that's generalised anxiety, noise sensitivity, or fear of the world outside your front door.
Extra qualifications in the specialist area of canine aggression, often driven by fear or anxiety.
Rescue Dog Settling: Helping newly adopted dogs decompress, build trust, and find their footing in your home. The first weeks and months matter enormously, and the right support makes all the difference.
